Both Amazon and Apple have plans to open health clinics for their employees. But don’t get fooled by media focus on beautiful design and experience. If Amazon or Apple are to succeed in breaking the status quo of an entrench industry that represents one-fifth of the US economy, they will have to master and change the economics of care.
